The Tellico Ledges section is only two miles in length, but the significant whitewater makes it seem longer. This is a class III/IV run with a road that travels parallel to the entire run. The Tellico has beautiful scenery, clear water and good drops. “This is a classic southeastern whitewater run.”
This is a “creeky” class III/IV run with several vertical drops including Baby Falls which is a 12’-15’ drop. To attend this trip, you should be confident in your roll and eddy-catching ability.
This river is water level dependent, so if the water is not at an appropriate level, we will probably run the Ocoee instead.
